What We Believe.
Our Faith is based on the Bible which we believe is inspired by God and is His revealed final authority in all matters of doctrine and practice.
"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness"
2 Timothy 3 v 16
We believe in the unity of the triune Godhead, the sovereignty of God, the Deity of Christ and the Person and work of the Holy Spirit.
"And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory."
1 Timothy 3 v 16
"And when He [The Holy Spirit] is come, He will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment. Of sin, because they believe not on me; Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged."
John 16 v 8 - 11
We believe that Jesus
Christ is the eternal Son of God coequal within the Holy Trinity and that
He died and rose again bringing salvation to all who repent and receive
Him by faith.
"But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth His Son"

"For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the scriptures"
1 Corinthians 15 v 3 and 4
"He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him."
John 3:36
We believe that He is coming again soon for all true believers
"And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also."
John 14 v 3
What We Do.
We seek to share our faith so that others may come to trust Christ as Saviour.
"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."
Acts 4 v 12
We practise the New Testament teaching of baptism of Christians by immersion on their public confession of faith.
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:" Matthew 28 v 19
"Then they that gladly received His word were baptized"
Acts 2 v 41
And we hold a weekly Breaking of Bread Service when those who have trusted in the Lord Jesus as Saviour and have been baptised by immersion remember Him and His death for us on the Cross.
"And He took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you."
Luke 22 v 19 and 20
Because we believe God hears and answers believing prayer we have a weekly Prayer Meeting.
"The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much."
James 5 v 16
Regular Bible Studies are held, do that we may learn more of God's will and purpose for our lives.
"They received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily"

and in breaking of bread, and in prayers."
